You’ll see Sam on the bottom right of this photo, as she got closer to the falls.
These three photos, we’re taken at a Semi Frozen lake. We are standing on the frozen section. To us this is mind boggling.
Some snow we passed.
The view of the lake in the next 3 photos.
Just mind boggling!
Below are some incredible views from the drive.
Within a matter of minutes it was 3 o’clock already! The previous days festive fun and love had set our expectations for a long day, but in fact it was over in minutes.
Starting around 8, we left our Christmas Family and headed out of Redwood City. Yosemite park was the destination and the drive wasn’t to technical. Taking it easy we were there around 11, stopping over at the visitors centre and various water falls to name a few.
The drive in and around Yosemite is incredible and the views, something of a world wonder!
Stopping at frozen lakes with others as they Ice-Skated and Pik Niked on the lake.
This was something new to us all, as the road we were traveling on, is generally closed in the winter. Restricting this kind of activity. Thankfully the road was open this year, otherwise we would have had to add onto our road trip with a detour.
We pulled into Bishop, a small town on route Vegas. As planned, we booked in at a motel and scored a sweet deal! The place was clean and spacious, leaving a great night for both of us to iPad and catch some comedy on TV.
I’m now typing this while we drive to Vegas, we’ve crossed into Nevada and travelled some roller coaster and dead straight roads. Thanks Steve Jobs for the iPod!
